Gopher Hunt

PLAYING THE GAME:

     Really the game is pretty simple. Move the cursor around the screen 
     using the numeric keypad (Numlock must be ON). When you are over the 
     middle portion of the gopher press either the '5' or '0' keys to kill 
     the gopher. If you hit ten gophers you advance to the next level. 
     With each level the gophers remain on the screen 1/2 second less.
                                                                     
     At any time during the game the player can get help (press 'H') or 
     see the current high scores (press 'S'). Additionally the following 
     keys are available to the SysOp:

             Sysop keys
             ~~~~~~~~~~
              * F3        Toggle printer on/off

              * F4        Toggle pagebell on/off

                F5        Shell to DOS

              * F7        Toggle caller alarm on/off

                F8        Return user to system

                F9        Toggle display on/off

                F10       Chat mode  (use the ESCAPE key to exit)

                ALT-H     Toggle between different status lines

              * ALT-N     Toggle SysOp on next

              * ALT-X     Toggle exit to dos after call
                          and help lines

     Alternately pressing the ALT-H key will bring up the next status line 
     screen.  The 1st screen is a help screen, the second screen shows your 
     COM port status.

     NOTE: Items marked with an '*' are only functional with PCBoard systems.
